UCBA update

Dear Friends and Families of USA Cambodia Basketball,

We are posting this update because we know the Covid-19 virus has created delays and challenges for everyone.  Health and safety are always our utmost concern and we send best wishes for good health, social distancing and mask wearing to keep all athletes and their families healthy and safe.

The UCBA has ongoing communications with the Cambodian Basketball Federation (CBF)  and they are now formulating their format for international play in 2021.  They will finalize at their upcoming meeting in December, during which the UCBA Board will participate via Zoom. We expect to have more information and be able to share their direction at that time.

We appreciate all applicant athlete’s patience during the ongoing Covid-19 interview process.  Hopefully, we will see vaccine progress in the coming year, and be able to once again, see basketball and sports activities flourish.

On behalf of the UCBA Board,  we wish you and your families a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving Season,  and thank you for your interest, many messages of support, and all the assistance to help Cambodia strengthen its basketball program for international competition in the 2021 SEA Games.
